Description
It is a variety split lentil without skin and is red/dark orange in colour. It is an important part of the Indian vegetarian cuisines. It is a very cooking friendly food as it does not need soaking prior to cooking and cooks quickly. Once cooked, it turns into dark orange in color and has unique earthy flavor.
