Indian rupees symbol, TVS has announced the launch of a keyboard with the Indian
rupee symbol in it. The company also claims that it is the first Indian keyboard
to have the rupee symbol on it.
TVS’s keyboards are generally manufactured to withhold the wear and tear of the
Indian conditions and each key on the keyboard can withstand up to 50 million key
strokes because of their cherry mechanism.
TVS Gold Bharat Keyboard has high reliable 200,000 hours MTBF, wear and tear of
keys are minimal cause of the laser etched keycaps, the keyboard is available in
USB and PS2 interfaces, storage temp is between -40c to 60c; operating temp is between
5c to 45c ideal for Indian conditions and dimensions is 490(L)x180(W)x20(H) mm Ergonomic
Design.
The bilingual keyboard can work with Linux and the Windows operating system and
supports local Indian languages such as Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, Tamil,
Telugu, Gujarati, Assamese, Malayalam, to name a few.
The key board is priced at just Rs. 1,495.
